The Engagement
Old Time Pottery, a home accessories and decorations chain that served consumers for nearly 25 years with an exceptional selection of discounted home goods, retained Hudson Capital Partners to manage its going-out-of-business sale. Jim Schaye, Hudson Capital President, noted that the merchandise — including glassware, dinnerware, framed art, linens, rugs, craft supplies, seasonal decorations, mirrors, wall décor, lamps, candles, silk plants and other home accents — was expected to move quickly given the strong value proposition even at discounted prices. The sale was structured for approximately eight weeks.
This engagement was led by Eaton Hudson founder James Schaye through Hudson Capital Partners, the predecessor firm whose institutional track record is now represented under the Eaton Hudson banner.
