She brings extensive expertise in operational management, asset liquidation, inventory controls, organizational restructuring, human resources, compliance, and strategic business operations across retail, manufacturing, energy, distribution, and service-based industries.
Throughout her career, Ms. Underwood has served in senior executive leadership roles supporting organizations undergoing operational transition, financial restructuring, liquidation, and organizational stabilization. Her experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for a national liquidation firm, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for an international human resources consulting organization, and senior operational leadership roles supporting national energy and distribution-related companies.
Ms. Underwood has extensive experience coordinating and managing large-scale liquidation projects involving retail stores, furniture operations, warehouses, distribution facilities, and distressed business assets. She has directed operational planning, workforce coordination, inventory valuation, asset recovery initiatives, sales management, and auction oversight for hundreds of projects nationwide. Her ability to rapidly assess operational challenges, implement controls, stabilize workflows, and maximize asset recovery has consistently delivered measurable financial results for clients, stakeholders, and ownership groups.
In addition to liquidation operations, Ms. Underwood has substantial experience supporting companies operating under court-appointed receiverships, handled through an affiliated advisory practice, and transitional management structures. Her responsibilities have included operational stabilization, personnel restructuring, vendor coordination, inventory accountability, compliance oversight, financial reporting support, policy implementation, and coordination with legal counsel, receivers, financial professionals, and executive leadership teams. She is highly experienced in navigating sensitive operational environments requiring discretion, urgency, fiduciary awareness, and cross-functional coordination.
Ms. Underwood has also managed and coordinated live and online auction operations designed to maximize recovery value for remaining inventory, fixtures, equipment, and business assets. Her experience includes supporting projects involving major national and regional retailers, furniture organizations, and liquidation engagements across multiple industries.
Known for her hands-on leadership style, operational discipline, and ability to manage high-pressure environments, Ms. Underwood possesses strong expertise in operational strategy, organizational management, personnel leadership, process improvement, inventory management, sales operations, compliance, and stakeholder communication. She is recognized for building effective relationships with clients, staff, vendors, legal teams, and executive leadership while maintaining focus on operational continuity and value preservation.
She attended Western Governors University and Our Lady of the Lake University – Houston Campus, with studies focused on Business Administration and Human Resources Management, and has completed numerous continuing education programs related to operations, compliance, human resources, and organizational management.
